Update and Event News from Reading Downtown Improvement District

Dec 19, 2018
Cups of Compassion

We’re just weeks away from Reading Fire + Ice Fest 2019! This immensely popular festival, scheduled for Friday, January 18 and Saturday, January 19, will be in its fifth year. And of course we have a lot planned for both days. Learn more in our latest newsletter here.  Also in this edition is information on Cups of Compassion, which is coming up this Thursday (December 20) starting at 8 a.m. Cups of Compassion works with local businesses and volunteers to provide services to the homeless. In addition to offering free food, the event provides those in need with a variety of items such as clothing and toiletries, as well as social services.

PLUS our latest Ambassadors Report is now available to view! Compiled by Chris Vazquez, our Ambassador’s Manager, these reports are presented to our Board of Directors at their monthly meetings and provide such information as the number of trash bags/pounds of trash and leaves picked up during the month.

You can read the report here.

Happy Holidays from everyone at the Reading Downtown Improvement District!
