Mix of business, nonprofit presenters to be featured at Northeast Berks Chamber Meetings

Kutztown, PA…The Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce, 110 W. Main Street, Kutztown, PA, announces a continuing schedule of monthly programs into 2019, its 30th Anniversary year.

For a third consecutive year, on Friday, January 18, Ryotaro Tashiro will present economic indicators and forecasts for 2019 at the Annual Economic Forecast Breakfast of the Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce.  Tashiro, regional economic advisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, will present at Kutztown University’s McFarland Student Union, MSU Room 218/223.  Doors open at 7:30 a.m., and the program runs until 9:00 a.m.  An Annual Meeting of Members precedes the featured presentation that is sponsored by Fleetwood Bank.

On Friday, February 15, Mike Sutton, Integrator at Wicked Reports, will present Digital Marketing Insights for Small Business Owners at the Reading Regional Airport.  For small businesses who are actively marketing with paid media and email, Wicked Reports is the leading marketing attribution software that helps them grow sales faster with true ROI reporting, so they can see which marketing activities drive revenue, discover where the best leads come from, and stop spending on ads that don’t work.  Fraser Advanced Information Systems is the Meeting Sponsor.  Kutztown University Foundation will make a nonprofit partner presentation.

In March, also on the 15th, Caitlin Faas, Ph.D., will speak on the topic of How Businesses Can Connect Generations at Moselem Springs Golf Club, Fleetwood.  Caitlin Faas is a developmental psychology professor at Mount St. Mary’s University. She earned her doctoral degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Virginia Tech. Her research over the past decade has focused on millennials. Now, she facilitates how businesses can connect generations across academic and career issues.  Community First Fund is the nonprofit partner, and a Student Recognition Program is also slated for the meeting agenda.

On Friday, April 26, Dr. Keith Floyd, Founder and President of Invision Group, will present The Process of Change:  The Good, The Bad, and The Successful.  Dr. Floyd has over 25 years of teaching and training experience, with over 20 years of administrative leadership.  More than 12 years were/are at the senior or executive level. Dr. Floyd has conducted extensive professional development trainings, leadership workshops, as well as has managed and overseen countless project initiatives. In addition to these leadership roles, Dr. Floyd has presented numerous times at the state, national, and international levels.  Sponsored by Interlace Communications, Inc., the chamber meeting will also include a nonprofit partner presentation by Kutztown Strong and a Student Recognition Program.
