On Friday February 8, 2019, Reading-based Anjoli Productions and Flagship Music Productions will present its inaugural “Tribute-Pa-Looza” at The Crowne Plaza Hotel Ballroom in Wyomissing. The event is dedicated to continuing the legacy of Alisa B. Anderson. Anjoli Productions is owned by Reading Vocalist/Saxophonist/Uptown Bandleader Erich Cawalla and Flagship Music Productions is owned by Reading Concert Promoter/Entrepreneur Rob Hunt.

Alisa B. was one of the most-beloved members of the Berks Co. music community until her untimely death in 2015 due to stomach cancer. She was a member of the legendary Reading-based Groovemasters ft. Bennie Sims and Cliff Starkey as well as many other groups throughout her 50-year old life. Her energy and enthusiasm for anything musical was contagious and her musical friends have strived to continue to celebrate her life and legacy through events such as Funk Fest (featuring The Groovemasters and The Uptown Band held yearly on Columbus Day in October), “Banda-Pa-Looza” (held yearly on Good Friday), and this year’s inaugural “Tribute-Pa-Looza”.

DETAILS ABOUT THE ACTS PERFORMING:

Jeffrey Krick, Jr. and The Spinouts Band – Jeffrey is an Award-Winning Elvis Tribute Artist that is no stranger to the Reading music scene. At only 21-Years Old, he is a 2-Time Fan-Favorite Award Winner at the Ocean City MD Elvis Festival and placed as high as #6 in the World at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Contest. In his short but busy career, he has headlined Cruise Ships, numerous Elvis and music festivals, county fairs, and has performed as far West as Hawaii and Las Vegas.

Amy Banks Presents “To Aretha with Love” – Amy has spent well-over two decades performing as a professional singer, actress, and television personality. Originally from Minnesota, she has appeared on stage and screen all over the world, but calls Lancaster PA home after relocating there to perform at the American Music Theatre. Since then, she has self-published and produced five music CDs, of which her third CD, “When the Sun Comes Out”, reached Chartbound at JazzWeek.

Jenifer Kinder and Amy Flies in Paradise – Jenifer is one of the most versatile vocalists in the Northeast. She is a founding member of Reading’s own Uptown Band and has performed as far west as Reno, California, and as a featured act at thousands of shows. As a member of The Uptown Band, her song “I’m Breathless” continues to receive radio airplay on stations throughout the world. Jenifer’s love of Amy Winehouse started the first moment she heard her unique, sultry voice and strives to honor this at each presentation.
