It’s a Dragon of a Day with the Exeter Community Library

The Exeter Community Library welcomes dragon lovers of all ages to join in the fun on Saturday, February 2nd to celebrate “National Take Your Child to the Library Day” with the costumed dragon from the beloved children’s series ‘Dragons Love Tacos.’ The event runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and is designed to entertain children and families with a variety of activities.

The library’s “Dragon of a Day” will feature early learning stations, door prizes, book bingo, balloons with Wacky Patti, and a recycled art contest where children are invited to make their own dragons with recycled materials and are limited only by their own imagination. Children’s Librarian Laura Kauffman encourages local families to stop by and join in the fun. The event is being held at the Exeter Community Library at 4569 Prestwick Dr., Reading, 19606 and is sponsored in part by Moe’s Southwest Grill, Clover Farms, and Chick-fil-A.

Take Your Child to the Library Day is one of many events offered to the public through a partnership between program presenters, Friends of the Exeter Community Library, and The Exeter Community Library. For more information and a detailed schedule of events, visit www.berkslibraries.org/exeter or the Exeter Community Library Facebook page. Through its varied programs, the Exeter Community Library aims to serve the community as a center of learning, accessible recreation, practical tools, and nearly 500 free programs designed for children and adults to participate in throughout the year.
