V-Day Reading is looking for artwork for their Vagina Monologues fundraiser at the The WCR Center for the Arts in February.
A group of local women volunteers are performing a production of the Vagina Monologues at the WCR Center for the Arts in Reading on February 22 and 23, 2019. We are having a silent auction prior to the show, and are looking for local artists to donate their work. All proceeds from our auction and event will benefit women and girls in our community and across the country. In exchange for your donation, you will receive a free ticket to one night of the show and mention in our program.
There are no “rules” and we are not requesting any specific genre of art. That said, female inspired pieces would be very appropriate, but again it is not necessary. There are no contracts or rules for submission or money exchanged. All artwork is donated and all monies raised therefrom go toward programs that empower women and girls, locally and nationally. We do ask that you give us a suggested opening bid for your piece, so we have an understanding of the value of your work.

The Vagina Monologues are coming to the City of Reading on February 22 and February 23 at the WCR Center for the Arts, Reading. The show begins at 7pm and the doors will open at 6pm for the silent auction. Proceeds from the show will benefit local organizations that empower women and girls.
