Pinto and Dishong-Vanetten Join Tompkins VIST Bank

WYOMISSING, PA – Tompkins VIST Bank announced the addition of two new staff members.

Steven Pinto

Steven Pinto, of Oaks, has joined the company as a mortgage originator in the southern Berks and greater Philadelphia areas. In that role he is responsible for working to provide customers with mortgages and support them through the entire home-buying process.

Pinto has more than 28 years of financial industry experience, including mortgage loan origination and servicing, and underwriting at such companies as ComNet Mortgage, Republic Mortgage Insurance, Radian Guarantee, and Bryn Mawr Trust Company, where he worked before joining Tompkins VIST Bank.  He is a graduate of the Milton Hershey School.

Mary Dishong-VanEtten

Mary Dishong-VanEtten, of Shillington, is the bank’s new vice president and corporate security officer. In that role she is responsible for the education, prevention and investigation of financial crimes.

A veteran of more than 24 years in financial services, Dishong-VanEtten previously was with First National Bank of PA.  She received a B.A. in Criminal Justice Administration from Alvernia University.

Active in professional organizations and the community, she is vice president of the Delaware Chapter of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators and is a member of the South Central Pa. Financial Security Officers Association. She also has been a guest lecturer on financial crimes at York College and Elizabethtown College and has worked with attorneys and law enforcement on financial crime prevention.
