WYOMISSING, PA – Tompkins VIST Bank today announced that Jonathan “JJ” Valerio, of Denver, has joined the company as vice president, business development officer and manager of the Exeter branch office. In that role, he is responsible for developing consumer and business relationships by meeting customers’ needs and expanding the bank’s presence in the local community.
Valerio has 39 years of financial services experience. Before joining Tompkins VIST Bank he was with First Priority Bank. He is a graduate of Lebanon Senior High School and the Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking at Bucknell University.
Active in the community, Valerio has had leadership roles with the Myertown Lions Club, the Lebanon County Builders Association, the Boy Scouts of America, the United Way of Lancaster County and the Jackson Township Industrial Development Authority. He currently serves on the board of the Adamstown Area Library.
