Reading, PA – Reading Public Library’s Family Nights series will feature two programs in March.
On Monday, March 4 from 4 to 6 pm, representatives from CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) will present a program on how CHIP can keep your children healthy and how to renew ones current plan. One-on-one help will be available following the program, including bilingual representatives. Happenings will also include a celebration of “Read Across America” with literary-themed activities.
On Monday, March 18 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, The Food Trust will present a nutrition and cooking workshop. Included in the entertaining and informative program will be low cost cooking ideas, tasty nutrition tips, cooking and food tastings, and kitchen giveaways.
Both programs will be held at Main Library, 100 S. 5th street. All ages are welcome. Pre-registration is not required and all activities are free.
