HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT OR GET INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CASA VOLUNTEER?
I was looking to volunteer and I went to the U.W. website.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT BEING A CASA VOLUNTEER?
I like working with the child I am assigned and advocating for their needs. I like knowing my volunteering is making a difference. I love that bond I have with my “kids.”

WHAT IMPACT DO YOU FEEL YOU HAVE MADE BEING A CASA VOLUNTEER?
I believe children are getting the safe and permanent placement they deserve. I also feel I am helping to ensure that the children’s educational and social needs are being met.

WHAT IMPACT HAS BEING A CASA VOLUNTEER HAD ON YOU?
Being a CASA volunteer has opened my eyes to what children really go through. It is also helping me to understand diversity.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SHARE WITH OTHERS THAT ARE THINKING ABOUT BECOMING A CASA VOLUNTEER?
I think it is a unique opportunity for giving back and seeing the difference you can make in a child’s life. I also appreciate the connections and relationships I have formed within the CASA program.
