Normal gallery hours are 11-3pm, Friday through Sunday or by appointment.

Art work will be received at the Boyertown Gallery Tuesday, April 16 from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Please visit the Studio B website for more information and submission paperwork http://www.studiobbb.org/gallery/call-to-artists/

“The area’s artists are challenged to respond to all things round,” explained Susan Biebuyck, Studio B’s gallery director and fine artist.

“We had a huge response to last season’s “Wheels” exhibit, so we decided to bring it around again in hopes of raising funds for the future Secret Valley Bike Trail, a path that will lead from Boyertown to the Schuylkill River Trail neighboring Pottstown,” Biebuyck continued.

Funded by a grant from the Boyertown Area Charitable program of Berks County Community Foundation (BCCF), the exhibit seeks to celebrate for the second year the myriad means of transportation that have played an important part of Boyertown’s history and currently attract visitors to the area.

Popular historic venues include the Colebrookdale Railroad and Museum of Historic Vehicles in Boyertown and the Carousel at Pottstown. Car enthusiasts, racing fans, bicyclists, and motorcycle clubs showcase their love affair with wheels in contemporary culture.

“But ‘round things’ populate the natural world in addition to mankind’s inventions,” noted Jane Stahl, Studio B’s Director of Community Relations. “I expect our creative people to bring us loops and spheres, Fibonacci spirals, rings and disks of assorted types in their responses to this year’s theme.”
