Vettes Cruisin’ for Pets Corvette Show

Vettes Cruisin’ for Pets Corvette Show

That’s Vette as in Corvette – not Vet as in Veterinarian. Both have animals’ best interest at heart but only one is sponsoring a Corvette show to raise funds for the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
Reading, PA. – The Skyline Drive Corvette Club of Reading will be hosting its Annual Vettes Cruisin’ for Pets Corvette show on Sunday, June 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Alvernia University. All proceeds raised from the event go to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.

The show is expected to attract more than 100 Corvettes from the 1950’s to the brand new models. Trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place winners in 9 different classes. “Best of Show” will be selected by the staff of the Animal Rescue League, and a special award will go to the car selected by Alvernia’s Bernardine Franciscan Sisters for the “Bernardine Franciscan Sisters’ Choice Award.” The show is held at Alvernia University, founded by the Bernardine Franciscan Sisters.
