Kids Bike Rodeo With BAMBA and Berks County Parks & Rec

For immediate release– Bring your children to the Berks County Heritage Center to get them bike-ready for the warm weather ahead.  Kids will learn about bike fit, helmet fit, basic bike maintenance and a safety check before riding their bike through a skills obstacle course- for ages 4 to 12.

Members of BAMBA along with Parks staff and volunteers will be on hand to help kids and their families learn safe and responsible biking with this free event.  Prizes will be awarded at the end of the rodeo, with lunch provided in the Heritage Center snack bar for all participants.  Helmets and bikes are required.

Children must be pre-registered by May 10th by calling the Parks office at 610-374-2944 ext. 2611 or email John Pacharis with BAMBA at [email protected].

The Berks County Heritage Center is located at 1102 Red Bridge Road, Reading, PA 19605. The entrance is adjacent to PennState Health/St. Joseph’s Hospital near the intersection of Route 222 and Route 183 in Bern Township.
