Reading Public Library Sponsoring Teen Summer Employment Training

Reading, PA –   Reading Public Library is partnering with the Department of Labor and Industry to offer one-day sessions on Summer Teen Employment Training at three city library locations.  The training will include how to create a resume and fill out a job application as well as a practice interview.  Registration is required and space is limited.  Each participant will receive lunch, a bus pass to get to interviews, and a gift card to buy interview attire.

The workshops and registration information are as follows:

  • Wednesday, June 12, 1 to 4 pm, Northeast Branch, call 610-655-6361
  • Tuesday, June 25, 12 pm to 3 pm, Southeast Branch, 610-655-6362
  • Thursday, June 27, 11 am to 2 pm, Main Library Teen Loft, 610.655-6350 ext. 241
