Exeter Area Food Pantry 10,000 Can Update

Current Total = 2654 Cans
Thank you to everyone who has contributed cans so far. These cans only reflect the cans stored in preparation for the June give. Any cans you see in one of our collection boxes are in addition to this total.

We have a long way to go but I know Exeter can do it. Be sure to follow the Exeter Informant for updates as we work to reach our goal.

Congratulations

Congratulations to North Star United Methodist on reaching their goal of 1000 cans during their Summer Blast. Outstanding effort by the group.

Applebee’s
Applebee’s in Exeter has joined the effort. Anyone who brings in canned donation would receive a free appetizer card to use at their next visit at Applebee’s.

Motta’s Gardens and Landscaping
Motta’s will match the first 100 cans with a donation of 100 cans.

Liberty Taproom
Liberty Taproom has a drawing of a $20 gift card which anyone who donates a can will be entered into.

The Spine and Wellness Center
The Spine and Wellness has set a goal for their location of collecting 500 cans as a part of the 10,000 can challenge. As a special incentive to donors, they will donate $1 to the Exeter Area Food Pantry for every can they collect up to 500. Stop in with some canned goods and help them meet their goal! Anyone who brings in 10 or more cans will also receive a free t-shirt.

Reading Country Club
The Exeter-RCC Partnership will contribute $1 a can brought to RCC to buy additional cans.

Camp Success
North Star United Methodist’s SummerBlast and Schwarzwald UCC Preschool have had great drives to support the 10,000 can challenge. Teachers in the Parks has a drive this Sunday from 5:00 – 8:00. We would love to have other summer programs participating. Are you involved in a camp, vacation bible school or other summer program? We could use your help.
