Korean War Armistice Ceremony

The 2019 Korean War Armistice Ceremony hosted by the Combined Veterans Council of Berks County will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019, beginning at 9:00 am, in Veterans Grove, City Park, Reading.

Our Guest Speaker will be Dale Derr, U.S. Marine Corps and retired U.S. Air Force veteran, and recently retired Berks County Director of Veterans Affairs.  Korean War Veterans are asked to wear their new Peace Ambassador Medal.  Volunteers will be welcomed to help read the names engraved on the Korean War Monument in Veterans Grove.

Organizations and veterans groups who would like to participate with wreaths and/or Honor Guard units should contact the Council at 610-413-0020.
