Berks Area Regional Transportation Authority’s (BARTA) Route & Schedule
Changes scheduled to take effect on Monday, August 26, 2019 have been postponed
and will not take effect until a later date this fall. Due to circumstances beyond
BARTA’s control, the Route and Schedule changes will be delayed. All current
BARTA bus service will continue as currently being operated. The new effective date
will be determined at a later time. BARTA will notify customers and the public when
the schedule changes will take effect.
The following approved changes will not take effect until further notice:
Route 1 – Temple via 5th Street: Approved to add service on Sundays from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM, add a second bus due to heavy ridership.
Route 3 – Temple-Kutztown: Approved minor time point adjustments to improve on-time performance.
Route 10 – Brookline: Approved to modify schedule on Saturdays to match the weekday schedule to improve ontime performance.
