Heidi Masano, Managing Partner of Masano Bradley, LLP, Is New Chair of Penn State Health St. Joseph Board

Reading, Pa. – Heidi Masano, who has served on the Board of Directors for Penn State Health St. Joseph since 2012, most recently as vice chair, has taken the reins as St. Joseph’s board chair. She replaces Andrew Weidman who remains a member of the board.  Masano has held numerous board leadership roles with Penn State Health St. Joseph prior to becoming board chair.

Masano is the managing partner with Masano Bradley LLP, a law firm with expertise in corporate law, banks and banking, municipal law, litigation, estates and wills, real estate, higher education and family law.  She also oversees her firm’s status as a Women’s Business Enterprise certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.

For 29 years, she was Assistant Berks County Solicitor, assigned to the Berks County Planning Commission and Agricultural Land Preservation Board.  She was the first woman to serve as Berks County Solicitor in 1998.

Masano earned both her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government and International Relations and her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Notre Dame.

She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and Berks County Bar Association where she served as the first woman president in 1998.

She also is Vice Chair of the Board of the Foundation for the Reading Public Museum.
