On Friday, Sept. 20, more than 50 community leaders and supporters will rappel the Lincoln Tower Apartments in Reading to support the youth at Bethany Children’s Home. Each Edger has raised nearly $1,000 and has dedicated one hour of one day on this day to support our youth.

Over the Edge is known for its signature rappelling fundraising events all over the world and helping organizations raise millions of dollars since its inception. The fourth annual Over The Edge for Bethany will feature rappels by Sen. David Argall, Leah Tyler of Y102 and more.

The public is invited to attend the event and watch the Edgers rappel the Lincoln Tower Apartments beginning at 10 a.m. There will be free parking available in the attached parking garage at 5th and Washington streets. A Base Camp area will provide food and fun from local community organizations.

All funds raised from the 2019 Over the Edge Campaign will provide support for the life skills development and recreation programs of the youth served at Bethany.

Shuman Development and Lincoln Tower Apartments are the host site for the 2019 Over the Edge Campaign.

The mission of Bethany Children’s Home is to provide a safe place of nurture, protection, and supportive care to aid our residents in their self-understanding, growth, and healing toward a brighter, healthier future.
