Rehabilitation Lecture Series To Educate Community on Common Medical Conditions

West Reading, PA. – Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing is offering a free monthly lecture series on common medical conditions that benefit from physical medicine and rehabilitation. The discussions will be held at Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing, 2802 Papermill Road, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Topics include:

Osteoporosis, Monday, October 28
Deconditioning, Monday, November 25
Stroke, Monday, January 6
Spinal cord injury, Monday, January 27
Traumatic brain injury, Monday, February 24
Pain in shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand, Monday, March 23
Pain in neck and back, Monday, April 27

The program is designed for community members interested in learning more about improvement of their overall health, disease prevention, recovery from these common conditions, and the many benefits of physical medicine and rehabilitation.

“Rehabilitation can play an important part of a patient’s recovery,” said Jung Sun Yoo, MD, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing and lecture series host. “One of our goals in physical medicine and rehabilitation is to provide our patients the tools they need for a quicker recovery and getting back to the activities they love.”
