Berks County Community Foundation hires Director of Accounting

READING, PA – Megan Roswick has joined Berks County Community Foundation’s team as Director of Accounting.

Megan received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Delaware and is a Certified Public Accountant. She moved with her family from Delaware to Berks County in 2005. Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Megan spent more than nine years operating her own accounting firm. During that time, she specialized in providing services to small businesses and individuals, and providing accounting and consulting services to the nonprofit industry.

In 2018, Megan received two awards. Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants named her a 2018 Young Leader. She was also named one of the Top 40 Professionals Under 40 by the Reading Eagle.

Megan volunteers for Family Guidance Center, where she has served as treasurer of the board, secretary of the board, and chair of the finance committee. She also serves as treasurer for both the Plowville Athletic Association and Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Center. She volunteers at various other local nonprofits as well.

Megan enjoys spending time with her family and serves as the Daisy troop leader for her daughter’s Girl Scout troop.
