Educational Classes for Seniors at Jewish Cultural Center

Wyomissing, PA — The Jewish Federation of Reading/Berks and Jewish Family Service announce a series of three free classes for seniors to take place in October and November. The public is invited to these informational programs that can help you make important decisions if you are planning to retire in the near future.

On Wednesday, October 23 at 7 p.m. at the Jewish Cultural Center, 1100 Berkshire Blvd. Suite 125, Wyomissing, Stanley Fromuth, retired from the Social Security Administration will lead a program on “All About Your Social Security Benefits”. Learn about how and when to collect benefits and more.

On Wednesday, October 30 at 7 p.m. at the Jewish Cultural Center, 1100 Berkshire Blvd. Suite 125, Wyomissing, Benjamin Leisawitz, attorney from Leisawitz Heller will lead a program on “Wills and Power of Attorney”. Learn about how to create a solid estate plan.

On Wednesday, November 6 at 7 p.m. at the Jewish Cultural Center, 1100 Berkshire Blvd. Suite 125, Wyomissing, Phyllis Dessel, retired from the Berks County Area Office of Aging will lead a program on “Basic Introduction to Medicare”. Learn about all the parts of Medicare.
