Kutztown University Radio (KUR) Now Available on Spotify

KUTZTOWN, PA – Kutztown University’s campus radio station, KUR, now offers a sampling of some of its best talk, informational, and educational talk programming as podcasts on Spotify.

Spotify is an international media services provider that as of October 2019, has 248 million monthly active users, including 113 million paying subscribers. Many users of all ages think of Spotify as a source to stream their favorite music, but in recent years, has also become one of the top venues to stream video and podcast content from media companies.

“KUR is excited to keep pace with the leading commercial radio stations by offering programming on platforms such as Spotify,” said Mike Regensburger, KUR station manager and staff advisor. “Our partnership with Spotify is a part of KUR’s initiative to expand our listening audience even more and get greater exposure for the work of our talented students.”

Examples of KUR programming on Spotify include the station’s award-nominated campus and community-issues talk show “Kutztown Live,” a campus interview show called “Emmie Knows,” a women’s/GLBTQ-issues show called “Tough Topics,” and other varied information and talk interviews.
