Reading, PA –Christmas is coming early for the pets of Reading. Santa and his sleigh may look a little different, but the animals of Reading will be able to dream about the Sugarplum Fairy in their new beds. Humane Pennsylvania along with Berks Area Regional Transportation Authority (BARTA) will be hitting the streets on Thursday, December 19th from 10 AM to 5 PM to deliver free pet beds to the residents of Reading.
Humane Pennsylvania and BARTA will be making stops at predetermined locations and times to distribute free pet beds. At each stop, we will be distributing 100 dog beds; first come, first serve, with limited styles and sizes.
The pet bed distribution schedule is as follows, keeping in mind that times may vary:
- 10:30 – 11 AM- Berkshire Mall- by Ruby Tuesday’s entrance- 1665 State Hill Rd, Wyomissing.
- 11:30 AM- 12 PM- Olivet’s Boys and Girls Club, Clinton St. – 677 Clinton Street, Reading
- 12:30- 1 PM- Santander Arena- 700 Penn St, Reading.
- 1:30- 2 PM- Laureldale Fire Department- 1409 Park Pl, Laureldale.
- 2:30- 3 PM- Schell’s Dairy Swirl- 4625 N 5th Street Hwy, Temple.
- 3:30- 4 PM- First Energy Stadium- 1900 Centre Ave, Reading.
- 4:30-5 PM- Humane Pennsylvania- 1729 N. 11th Street, Reading.
