Studio B, Boyertown offers free art classes in preparation for student exhibition

Studio B, Boyertown has postponed their March 2020 events due to COVID-19 concerns.

Events postponed include Bob Wood’s History Talks March 15 and 22, “Superheroes” Opening Reception, March 20, and “Superheroes” Prose and Poetry Reading March 29, 2020.

The gallery’s current exhibition “Common Ground, Judy Lupas and Barbara Thun” has been extended until April 12th and will be available for viewing Fridays – Sundays 11-3pm or by appointment by calling Jane at (610) 367-8066.

On Thursdays, January 9 and 16, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Studio B, Boyertown, instructor Jean Esther will be assisting students who are working toward submissions for the “We, Too: Wonder Women Among Us” a student exhibit scheduled for the studio’s Gray Gallery during the March “Superheroes: What the World Needs Now” exhibit and book release in the main gallery.

These two special Thursday classes are FREE to students working on submissions for the exhibit. Portraits of people or animals, etc. or artistic renderings of personal qualities you have emulated or abstract expressions of inspiring behaviors, character traits, attitudes, and personalities are anticipated.

The exhibition opening reception is Friday, March 20, 2020, 5:00-8:00 p.m. The exhibit will run through April 12, 2020.
