After posting 46 points, 24 rebounds, and 10 blocks over two wins for the Albright Lions, sophomore Dejah Terrell earned her second spot on the D3hoops.com Women’s Basketball Team of the Week, announced by the website on January 2.

On Dec. 16, the Reading, Pa. native scored 18 points and added eight rebounds in a 69-54 victory at Moravian.  Terrell blocked seven shots, the most by an Albright player since February 15, 2014, and tied for the third spot in the single-game blocks program record.

With an 82-65 victory against King’s and a career-high 28 points from Terrell on Dec. 19, Albright women’s basketball notched their 12th win and remain undefeated with the best start to a season in school history.  The sophomore earned her seventh double-double of the season after pulling down 16 rebounds and adding three blocks.

Terrell continues to lead the MAC Commonwealth in scoring with 20.3 points per game.  Additionally, she ranks second in blocked shots with 3.3 per game and fourth in the conference with 11.0 rebounds per game.  Terrell currently sits at sixth for field goal percentage at 49.5 percent.
