by Safe Berks

Jan 08, 2020

Safe Berks is proud to welcome Angel Helm, our new Interim CEO! Angel’s first day at Safe Berks was Monday Jan. 6, 2020, and she will serve through June 1, 2020, while the Board conducts the search for the new permanent CEO.

“I am looking forward to the next six months here at Safe Berks and welcome the opportunity to lead the organization through this transitional period,” said Angel.  “Our mission and purpose, as you know,  is of critical importance to our Berks County community.  My goal is to guide Safe Berks through a smooth and productive transition period culminating in welcoming a new, permanent CEO to lead this agency for many years into the future!”

Angel recently served as Interim CEO at the Olivet Boys & Girls Club, Reading. Prior to that, she served as Managing Director for 29 years at Wells Fargo Securities.
