Reading, PA Tuesday, January 7, 2020– Reading Public Library will be joining six other venues in Berks and Lancaster Counties to present the “Great Decisions” Discussion Group Series, presenting conversations on the most critical issues facing America today at a city venue. The 2020 topics are:
Climate Change and Global Order
India & Pakistan
Red Sea Security
Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking
U.S. Relations with the Northern Triangle
China’s Road into Latin American
The Philippines & the U.S.
Artificial Intelligence & Data
The discussion group will meet from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at the Reading Public Library Foundation building, 113 S. 4th St., Reading.
Topics are presented through a briefing book, video presentation and facilitated discussion. The $30 registration fee includes a briefing book with expert papers on all eight of the topics. Participants are invited to attend any of the discussions being presented throughout our community. The Great Decisions series is supported by the World Affairs Council of Reading.
