GRCA welcomes new Director of Government and Community Relations

Reading, PA – The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) is pleased to announce its recent hire of Katherine Hetherington Cunfer, who will join the team as the Director of Government and Community Relations. Within this role, Hetherington Cunfer will lead the GRCA’s legislative agenda, advocacy initiatives and develop strategies to implement the GRCA’s Pro-Business Policy Agenda in partnership with community stakeholders and officials.

“GRCA is a fantastic organization and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work with and on behalf of their members. I’m excited to continue working with many of Berks County’s business and government leaders in this new capacity and to the new friendships and experiences to come,” said Hetherington Cunfer.

Hetherington Cunfer comes to GRCA with a diverse background of private and public experience, including positions at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, USDA and the Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Association. Most recently, she served as Deputy District Director for Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09), who covers a portion of Berks County.

“Katherine will be an excellent addition to our GRCA team. With her extensive background working as a liaison between industry and government officials, she will help shape and advance GRCA’s business and economic development agenda,” said Debra L. Millman, Esq., GRCA Vice President of Development.

Hetherington Cunfer will replace Gail Landis who retired from GRCA in October after more than 10 years of service.
