Author of I’Mpossible to inspire Berks

by Penn State Berks

Jan 21, 2020

Believing that everyone has the power and potential to accomplish the impossible, Jeff Griff, author of I’Mpossible: Desire, Dream, Do, will share his inspiring story of overcoming adversity and accomplishing things with Penn State Berks on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 7 p.m. in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.

Jeff Griffin, a.k.a. Griff, dreamed of playing college football until an accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. Determined not to let his paralysis define him, Griff, went on to accomplish some extraordinary feats. From playing in the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens, Greece and becoming a silver mentalist for the U.S. Men’s Wheelchair basketball Team, to playing for the Utah Wheelin’ Jazz and becoming a four-time All-Star MVP, Griff is a national champion on and off the court. He was the number one men’s wheelchair tennis player in the state of Utah, won the St. George Marathon, and holds two Guinness Book of World Records.
