Ultimate Events & Sports Management Company Purchases Tournament Operations, Baseball & Softball Club from BIG Vision

The event and sports management company, which currently operates lacrosse, field hockey and soccer programming is expanding its portfolio into the youth baseball and softball markets.

Yardley, PA – Ultimate Events and Sports Management Company is excited to be expanding its portfolio into the youth baseball and softball markets by acquiring the baseball and softball tournament operations and Berkshire Baseball & Softball Club from the BIG Vision Foundation.

“We’re really excited about the opportunity to take over the operation of the BIG Vision tournaments and Berkshire teams,” stated Becky Wells, Ultimate Evens and Sports CoOwner.  “We feel that our knowledge and expertise will make an already outstanding product even stronger moving forward.”

Ultimate Events & Sports (UES) was established in 2012 with the mission to create, manage, and deploy sporting events and programs for all age groups across the country, giving youth an opportunity to play sports. UES is a company founded on a sincere passion for athletics. Its focus is on competitive opportunity, while ensuring the highest quality. UES provides events that ensure a safe and optimal environment for the athletes, training opportunities that develop our youth, and an enjoyable atmosphere for the fans. UES remains committed to hosting events and programming that are supportive of its overall mission and are in line with the continual evolution of each sports respective game.

“After we conducted our Long Range Strategic Plan last winter, we understood that the mission of the BIG Vision Foundation was very confusing in the community.” Said Alan Carman, BIG Vision Foundation Board Chairman.  “The Strategic Plan, coupled with our founder, Dan Clouser informing us of his plans to retire last spring, we knew that we needed to find a group that could continue the legacy that was built over 30 years while streamlining the mission of the Foundation moving forward.  Our board is confident that we have achieved both of those goals.”

UES was founded in women’s lacrosse. Its owners have had extensive playing and coaching careers in the sport. UES operates two of the largest high school lacrosse recruiting  tournaments for girls in the country, including Project 120 (280 teams) and The Grind (360 teams). UES conducted a total of 14 lacrosse and field hockey events in 2019.  UES expanded into soccer in the fall of 2019 and has now added baseball and softball to start 2020.

Annually UES tournaments bring together over 1,000 teams from across the country and internationally. Since its inception, UES events have experienced a 50% growth every year. This is a direct result of customer satisfaction and loyalty earned from players, club owners, and collegiate coaches.  UES has essentially doubled its footprint by acquiring an established tournament operation that draws in upwards of another 1,000 teams annually in the baseball and softball markets.

Although, UES orginated in lacrosse, its mission has always been to expand into other sports, as it wishes to give youth the opportunity to play no matter their chosen game. The expansion into the baseball and softball markets is a natural progression of the company’s continued growth.
