Tompkins VIST Bank Promotes Vaughan, Woodland, Bell

WYOMISSING, PA – Tompkins VIST Bank has announced the following promotions.

Amy Vaughan, vice president and manager of the Bern branch, has been promoted to also oversee the Wyomissing and Sinking Spring offices. In this role, she is responsible for the branches’ operations and growth of their business and consumer relationships.

Vaughan, of Sinking Spring, has 17 years of financial service experience. She joined Tompkins VIST bank in 2007 and previously had been an assistant manager at Affinity Bank. She is a graduate of Penn State University.

Active in the community, Vaughan is secretary and treasurer of the Wyomissing chapter of Business Network International, and is treasurer of Wilson Wrestling Boosters. She is also treasurer and membership chair of the Spring Township Centennial Rotary Club, and is a member of the Greater Reading Young Professionals, Greater Reading Chamber Alliance and Women2Women. In addition, she supports Feeding Veterans, Relay for Life of Western Berks, Greater Reading Food Bank, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Baseballtown Dream League.

Jennifer Woodland, assistant vice president, has been promoted to manager II level of the Breezy Corners office. In this role, she is responsible for the operations of the branch and developing business and consumer relationships.

Woodland, of Blandon, has 17 years of financial services experience.  She joined Tompkins VIST Bank in 2008.  Previously, she was with Berkshire Bank.  She received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing from Alvernia University.

Active in the community, she is a member of the Greater Reading Young Professionals, the Oley Valley Community Library, the Oley Valley Business Association, and the Oley Valley Youth League. In addition, she volunteers annually at the Opportunity House’s Souper Bowl and Restoring Hope’s Cup-Cake Wars.

Andrew Bell,  a business development officer, has been promoted to assistant vice president. In his role, he is responsible for developing new consumer and commercial deposit relationships throughout the Bank’s Pennsylvania footprint and facilitating referrals for customers needing insurance and wealth management services.

Bell, of Wyomissing, joined Tompkins VIST Bank in 2018. Previously, he worked at McCarthy Engineering and was president of the Reading Royals.  He received a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and a J.D. from Widener Law School.

Active in the community, Bell is a member of the Berks and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and a board member of the Salvation Army and BSA Hawk Mountain Council . He previously held board positions with the Greater Reading Convention and Visitors Bureau, Big Vision Foundation and the Gilmore Henne Community Fund.
