West Reading’s Fashion Show to Feature Trends, Young Designers

West Reading is bringing high fashion to Greater Reading with their third annual Fashion Show. This event will bring together designers, models and local boutiques for a night focused on creativity, style and music.

The show will take place on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 7 pm in the Olympian Ballroom located at 603 Penn Avenue in West Reading. Advance tickets are $40, or $45 at the door. Discounts will be given with a military or student I.D.

Bella Ditsky models Fashion Show “look” for Frock

Inclusivity and eclectic looks will be showcased featuring streetwear to lingerie to vintage, coming from prominent area boutiques, LiliBea’s, Be Mine Boutique, A Touch Of Grace Vintage, New Age Attire and frock.

Albright College Fashion design students students Paul Cieri ’20 and Ashley Hillegass ’21 will present three separate looks from the 2020 “Design Challenge” under the direction of alumna and fashion design faculty member, Sara Nelson.

Five Reading Muhlenberg Career & Technology Center student designers will present 18 looks from their work with instructor Tricia Rubin.

Enjoy a welcome glass of champagne + taste light bites by West Reading restaurants. Music provided by DJ Gregg Nyce. Media sponsor Berks County Living will be shooting guests for an upcoming “B Scene”.

A cash bar will feature local brews from Chatty Monks Brewing and spirits from Reading Distilling Guild.

Leading up to the show, West Reading will feature events with their very own Fashion Week, starting Wednesday, February 26th. During this time participating boutiques will feature special promotions.

On Wednesday, February 26th, Nitro Bar, 416 Penn Avenue, will be hosting table-side modeling to showcase the Fashion of West Reading.

West Reading’s vibrant community is growing by bringing arts programing to the greater Reading area. They are excited to feature this cutting edge event to help encourage further development of our local Fashion and Design community.
