West Reading, PA – The Borough of West Reading Recreation Department received a generous donation of $785 from Vision Credit Union for the summer Playground Program on Thursday, February 20th.
The Playground Program provides children in West Reading activities, field trips, and educational learning throughout the summer months. Recreation Director Helen Moyer said because of this donation the program will continue to thrive. In a statement Moyer said, “We are thankful that Vision Credit Union was able to help with a donation to keep the cost down for our families to enjoy summer playground”.
In an email statement Vision Credit Union said, “Visions is about people, not profits. As a credit union, giving back is what we do. This is what we do to help make our communities and each other better. Our mission is People helping People”.
Accepting the check from representatives of Visions FCU were Recreation Director Helen Moyer, West Reading Mayor Andrew Kearney, and West Reading Council President Jack Gombach.
