ANNVILLE, Pa. – Senior Albright women’s lacrosse midfielder Kelly Baumann was named MAC Commonwealth Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference on March 2.

Baumann led the Lions with a five-point performance on Saturday afternoon as the Lions defeated Ursinus 12-10. She dished out four assists and scored one goal in the victory over the Bears. The South Huntington, N.Y. native ranks second in the MAC Commonwealth with 14 points and nine assists. Baumann also tied the Lions program record for career assists that was held by former Lion Sophie Bass, who set the record last season.

This is her second-straight weekly conference accolade after picking up defensive honors last week. This is her first offensive player of the week award in her collegiate career.

The Lions will return to action on Wednesday, March 4th as they will travel to face Haverford at 4 p.m.
