Spring Sports Senior Profiles: Logan Pennypacker

Logan Pennypacker has been a familiar face in the Albright outfield over the past four seasons. Through his 89 starts, Pennypacker has made starts in all three sides of the outfield that began in left field during his first-year 2017 season. It all came together for Pennypacker in 2019 as he earned All-MAC Commonwealth honors for the first time in his collegiate career. The Pottstown native led the team in batting average (.333), hits (37), stolen bases (15) and runs scored (25) while appearing in 33 games for the Lions. Pennypacker recorded 12 multi-hit contests and matched his career-high with three hits on four different occasions

What is your favorite sports memory at Albright?
“My favorite sports memory at Albright is when we beat Alvernia in 2017 at their home field when they were ranked top 25 in the nation.”

What are your post-graduate plans?
“My post-graduate plans are to work as a fish culturist for a state fish hatchery or become a wildlife ecologist.”

What is one thing that you would like to say to current Albright baseball underclassmen/future Albright baseball student-athletes?
“Attack every day as if it were your last, because every second counts and you never know when it may be the last time going out on the diamond.”

Why did you chose Albright?
“I chose Albright College, because of the small, close-knit community, the quality of education and it gave me the best shot of continuing my athletic career.”

What is your favorite aspect about Albright?

“My favorite part about Albright has to be the diversity of students and faculty that is on campus.  Albright is unique in its own rights and has allowed me to gain lifelong friends that all have different backgrounds.”
