For celebration of 2020 NCAA Division III week, Albright Athletics will feature a number of student-athletes with a short Q&A profile. Every student-athlete was asked why they chose to compete at the NCAA Division III level. Today we spotlight Albright first-year libero Shelby Cheuvront

In her first year on Albright’s campus, Shelby Cheuvront started in every single game at libero for the Albright Lions women’s volleyball team. Cheuvront led the team and ranked fifth in the MAC Commonwealth with 4.09 digs per set. She tallied a total of 278 digs, 16 assists, and 16 kills for the 2019 season. Cheuvront’s biggest night of the season came when she matched a single-game program record with 11 service aces against Rosemont.
