8 Oaks Farm Distillery Donates Hand Sanitizer to Berks County DES

Reading, PA — 8 Oaks Farm Distillery, New Tripoli, PA will be providing 100 cases of hand sanitizer to Berks County DES for use by emergency services personnel and other community responders here in Berks County.

The need led to a change in production “This is something that has been tough for us to secure.” stated Brian A. Gottschall, Director of the Berks County Department of Emergency Services. “We really appreciate the owners of 8 Oaks making this donation to the county and our first responders.”

PPE continues to be difficult to obtain .

Commissioner Christian Leinbach noted that “Hand sanitizer and other PPE are still in short supply. This is a positive development, and something that will make a difference for county employees and first responders here in Berks County. A special thanks to the owners of 8 Oaks for showing some real creativity in the middle of this crisis.”
