Say Thank You with a Howl Tonight

In honor and appreciation of all essential workers during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Wyomissing Public Library is organizing a “howl at the moon” thank-you on Thursday, May 7th, 2020, at approximately 8:30 pm, EDT.

This will be the last full supermoon of the year and is also known as the Flower Moon.

The Wyomissing Public Library is inviting all Berks County residents to go outside, with masks on and following social distancing rules, and howl a big community “thank you” to those who are doing critical work – and encourage your dogs to join in!

We are asking everyone in the county to go outside and howl our appreciation, following the examples set by singers in Italy, lit skyscrapers in New York City, howlers in Missoula, Montana, and general cheers and thank-yous around the country and the world.

It is not necessary to rsvp or to register; just go outside and howl.
