Berks Commissioners to Address Reopening Berks

Reading, PA — On Saturday May 9, 2020 the Berks County Commissioners released a statement regarding a commitment to work on a plan to reopen Berks for business.

In that release the Commissioners stated the following; “Over the next several days the Berks County Commissioners are going to secure input from Healthcare professionals, the Chamber Alliance and other business groups to develop a responsible and safe plan to reopen businesses in Berks County.”

Today the Berks County Commissioners announced that they will be presenting a status report on these efforts focusing on the “Business aspect of the plan” at an online Press Event.

This will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 3:30PM. This will be a Microsoft Teams Live Event and you may join and ask questions BY CLICKING HERE

The Press Event will also air live on BCTV, and stream live at bctv.org.

The Commissioners continue to urge our businesses and residents to “Do Your Part to Stop the Spread.” Reopening Berks must come with each of us taking responsibility to do so safely. That means we all need to do the right things to protect those around us. It will also require continued special precautions when it comes to those who are most vulnerable, the elderly and those with underlying conditions. Please visit www.DoYourPartBerks.com
