After You’re Gone: Explore the Art of Obituary Writing

by Wyomissing Public Library

Jul 11, 2020

If you could write your own obituary, what would you say about yourself, your life, your work, your family? “After You’re Gone” will explore the art of obituary-writing, whether for oneself or a loved one, on two consecutive Monday evenings, July 13th & July 20th, at 6 PM.

Former Reading Eagle writers Bruce Posten and Karen Lee Miller will host this  two-part virtual workshop as part of the Wyomissing Public Library’s Adult Program series.

Both programs will be held via ZOOM; there is no charge to participate but registration is required. Attendance is limited to 12 adults. Participants should have paper and pen/pencil handy during the workshops, and there will be homework. To register, email [email protected] or call the library at 610-374-2385. The deadline for registration is noon on Monday, July 13th.
