Local Lunch Project: Eat Local, Support Local

The Local Lunch Project is a community effort located right here in Berks County. The program provides groups and organizations alike the ability to pledge their support for local restaurants through a simplified online ordering system. Simply put, we created an easy online system to allow groups to pre-order delicious lunches from locally owned restaurants!

After a few weeks in the “Green” phase, we are starting to see some employees return to the office, medical practices open up for normal routine visits, and sales representatives return to the road. And again, local businesses are adapting and finding new ways to serve our community. In an effort to encourage our community to patronize local restaurants (including food trucks and farmers’ market stands) for lunch – Delivery Dudes and Do It Local Berks have teamed up with MADJ Marketing, one of Berks County’s most trusted marketing, advertising, and design firms, to create the Local Lunch Project!

Our system is ideal for employee lunches, corporate meetings, or any other event that requires an easy-to-order individually bagged lunch delivery! Enjoy healthy, locally fresh lunch delivery with your coworkers each week!

How Does The Local Lunch Project Work?

Pledge Your Support.

Anyone can participate in The Local Lunch Project program. Simply click the Order Here button above to browse our $10 Local Lunch Project Menus from our local restaurant partners! Our easy online ordering service through our program partner, Delivery Dudes, does have a 10 order minimum and 48-Hour advance notice requirement. Our goal is to serve 500 lunches weekly! Consider teaming up with co-workers, friends, or neighbors and pledge to order 1 lunch per week! The difference for our local restaurants that your pledge will make is incredible!

Select Your Lunches.

Click the Order Now button at the top of the Local Lunch Project page. Then, select your favorite lunch option(s) from one of our locally owned independent restaurant partners listed here and on the delivery dudes website and app! A minimum of ten (10) lunches must be purchased from one of our partners to qualify for this program.

Select your delivery date, choose delivery or pick-up, select your lunch option(s), and checkout. It’s that simple!

Enjoy Your Food.

Your order will be carefully packaged individually and delivered (or ready for pickup) at your specified date and time by our delivery partner, Delivery Dudes. This process allows for minimal handling of food items and provides for a safer alternative to lunch time with friends, family, or colleagues.

(Sorry! No substitutions or special requests for our $10 local lunch options. If you’d like special orders we recommend placing an individual order through Delivery Dudes for yourself!)
