Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County announces recipients of the Dorothy Klausing Bentley Scholarship

Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2020 Dorothy Klausing Bentley Scholarship.

Dorothy was a resident of Berks County and an active member and supporter of Breast Cancer Support Services. Each year three scholarships are awarded to a direct relative of a breast cancer survivor to attend a two year, four year or graduate school program.  The students must reside in Berks County.

This year the three $500 scholarships were awarded to the following 2020 high school graduates in memory of Dorothy Klausing Bentley:

Andrew Benning, Boyertown, Boyertown High School, attending the University of Pittsburgh

Rachel Kesserling, Wernersville, Conrad Weiser High School, attending Thomas Jefferson University

Payton Mentzer, Sinking Spring, Conrad Weiser High School, attending Kutztown University

Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County is an organization that provides hope, information and emotional support to women and men affected by breast cancer.
