9/11 Memorial Service in City Park

The City of Reading Department of Fire & Rescue Services commemorated the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States of America during a memorial service Friday, September 11, 2020. The ceremony began at 9:55 am in City Park, and honored all victims who were killed during the attacks.

The fire and police departments, as well as elected officials, memorialized emergency responders that made the ultimate sacrifice in performance of their duties.
