Safe Berks is proud to announce that our Board of Directors is now led by the following officers, effective September 1, 2020:
Amanda Jackowski, Senior Manager with Herbein + Company, Inc., will serve as Board President. Jackowski formerly served as Vice President.
Julianne E. Wallace, Vice President for Mission and Ministry at Alvernia University, will serve as Vice President.
Carlixta de la Rosa, PA Rates & Regulatory Affairs with First Energy Corporation, will continue to serve as Treasurer.
Barbara Boland, Coordinator of Student Assistance Services at Conrad Weiser Area School District, will serve as Secretary.

Thanks to their leadership, working in collaboration with staff, donors and volunteers, Safe Berks has maintained 24-hour free services throughout this pandemic.”
Safe Berks served more than 4,000 clients in the last fiscal year. Our Safe House provided a haven to hundreds of adults and children in the last fiscal year. Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Safe Berks services are free, confidential, available in English and Spanish, and will be translated into any other language needed. Safe Berks provides safe haven and support to victim of domestic violence and sexual assault. Our advocacy and education programs increase awareness of oppression and promote the prevention of domestic violence and sexual assault.
