The Muhlenberg Arts Board is organizing a Halloween House Decorating Contest. They have noticed over the years, that people like to decorate their homes and yards for the Halloween season, just as much as they do for the Holiday season. With this contest, we hope to promote the ghoulish times of the Halloween season.
The top winners in each category will win gift cards to local businesses. All contestants must live in Muhlenberg Township or Laureldale Borough. The Township may be divided into zones if the number of entries is high. All decorating must be done by the homeowner, not a professional decorator. Entry deadline is Oct. 19 at 12 noon and judging is on Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 6:30 to 9PM.
Categories include the Most Whimsical/Creative, Most Holiday Spirit, Most Haunting and Fall/Harvest display.

You can also register by calling 610-929-4727 ext. 265 and state that you want to enter the house contest and leave your name, address, phone number and which category best fits your house OR you could email [email protected].
Winners will be notified by Oct. 22 and a photo of their home will be posted on the Township website as the winner. Get involved and register today.
