Voting Safely & Securely on November 3rd

Attorney John Speicher will present a virtual program on Voting Safely and Securely on Wednesday, October 14th at 6 PM for the Wyomissing Public Library. The program, which is free and open to the public, will be presented through Zoom, and registration is required.

Mr. Speicher will discuss the different ways to vote, deciding which way best suits you, the advantages and disadvantages of going to the polls, early voting, absentee voting and voting by mail. He will talk about the laws that exist to protect your vote, the role of poll workers and poll watchers, and the role of the Electoral College in determining the winner of the Presidential Election. There will be time for questions after the presentation.

Attorney Speicher practices  with the law firm of Leisawitz Heller, where he is a senior member of the firm’s Trial Group. He received his Bachelor’s degree in History from Denison College and his law degree from Temple University. He is a former president of the Berks County Bar Association and a former chair of the board of directors of the YMCA. He is a member of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers of America.
