A Struggle for Equality: The 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment

The Friends of Hopewell Furnace cordially invite you to a virtual program commemorating the Centennial of the 19th Amendment on Sunday, October 18, at 1 p.m.

Join this journey towards equality through the lens of women in the National Park Service with Hopewell Furnace National Park Service Ranger Christine Hawthorne. International Playwright Christine Emmert will honor American Trailblazing  Women with an excerpt from her work “Fragile Freedom”.

The program will end with a look at National Parks that celebrate women’s history.
