Commissioners’ Weekly Update will preview what to expect on Election Day

Reading, PA — The Berks County Commissioners will host their Weekly Media and Public Update on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 4 PM on Microsoft Teams Live Event. Click here to find the link to this meeting. This week’s update will focus on the Nov. 3 General Election, with County staff providing the latest information and updates about voting and the results process. This Press Event will also be streamed live to the Berks County Facebook and YouTube pages.

Introduction of the Panel – Commissioner Barnhardt, Chair of the County Elections Board
• Ron Seaman – Chief Administrative Officer, County of Berks
• Christine Sadler – Solicitor, County of Berks

The Panel will address the following questions and topics:
1) Overview of what to expect on Election Day, Nov. 3
2) Update on Mail-in Ballots and Drop Boxes
3) How will mail-in ballots be processed?
4) When can the public expect to receive the results of the election?
5) What safety precautions are being taken at the polls?
6) Updates from the Office of Election Services
7) Question and Answers – Facilitated by Commissioner Barnhardt
