Creative Placemaking leverages the arts and culture to encourage  the creation of a sense of place.  Placemaking helps form vibrant centers in communities encouraging community development.  It has proven to be a useful tool in community development, helping to create stronger, more resilient and engaged communities.

Will will joined by a panel of Berks County community leaders who will respond to his presentation and speak about their efforts to use creative placemaking.

Panelists Include:

  • Sandy Green, Kutztown Community Partnership
  • Meggan Kerber, Berks Arts
  • Alan Shuman, Developer
