Reading, PA – One Love Project is happy to announce that in support of our mission to work with other organizations and help those in need – we will be hosting this years Cheery Christmas Food and Toy Distribution. This will be One Love Projects second food distribution event. We will be in partnership with The LGBT Center of Greater Reading, Reading Police Department, 6TENRADIO and Humane Pennsylvania. We will be distributing food and toys on December 19th, 2020 at 11 am to 1 pm to families in need throughout the community to bring joy during this Christmas season.
“We cannot think of any better way to bring cheer to families than to give out food and make their children happy by giving out toys. This year is a huge struggle for many and we want to do our best to make a change and bring a smile to your kids face,” stated Timothy Nye and Angel Gonzalez.
A Cheery Christmas Food and Toy Distribution is a one-day event that will provide families throughout the community the chance to bring food to their table and toys under their Christmas tree during the holiday. This will be a first come, first serve basis. Once you pull into The Gables at Stirling Guest Hotel,
you will be greeted by cheery volunteers. There will be no need to get out of your car; everything will be delivered to your car, for your safety and convenience. We cannot forget about the furry friends in the household. Humane Pennsylvania will be on site to hand out goods for your dogs and cats.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, anyone interested in attending, is required to wear a mask when communicating with any volunteers. All items being distributed have been sanitized to protect your family. All volunteers will be wearing gloves and masks on site.
If you are unable to attend or afraid to attend due to the pandemic, you are more than welcome to reach out to One Love Project at [email protected] We want to be able to help you and we will save a box for you.
